Introducing Readiness: Know How Prepared You Are. Be Ready for What’s Next.

Readiness is a new feature in Prisidio designed to help you understand how prepared you are today, what you still need to do, and make sure the people you trust can access it when they need it.

Life doesn’t always give us a lot of warning.

An unexpected emergency visit to the ER. A family member needing help. A natural disaster. The loss of a loved one. A lost purse or wallet.

In those moments, being prepared can make all the difference—but knowing how to prepare can feel overwhelming.

What information should you have? Which documents matter? Who needs access? What have you forgotten?

That’s why we’re excited to introduce Readiness, a new feature in Prisidio designed to help you understand what you need, organize it in one place, and make sure the people you trust can access it when they need it.

Preparation Starts With Knowing What You Need

Most of us know there are things we should have organized. The challenge is knowing where to start.

Readiness takes the guesswork out of that process.

With Readiness Scenarios, Prisidio provides curated checklists built around specific life situations. Instead of staring at an empty vault wondering what to add, you get a clear path forward—with the essential documents, information, contacts, and assets you may need for that situation.

Scenarios can help you prepare for things like emergency planning, childcare, digital estate preparation, and other important life situations.

Think of it as a roadmap for getting your life organized.

From “I Should” to “I’m Ready”

Every Readiness Scenario is organized into two levels:

Essential Items

The core information, documents, and assets you need to be fundamentally prepared.

Be Prepared for Anything

Additional items that can provide even more coverage, confidence, and peace of mind.

This approach makes preparation manageable. You don't have to do everything at once. Start with what matters most, then build from there.

See Your Progress With Readiness Scores

readiness-widgetGetting organized feels a lot better when you can see your progress. Each Readiness Scenario moves through four milestones:

Not Started

You haven't added any essential items yet.

Getting There

You've taken the first step by adding at least one essential item.

Prepared

You've completed all of the essential items and added at least one additional item for extra coverage.

Ready for Anything

You've reached Prepared status and shared the scenario with at least one trusted contact.

Your Prisidio dashboard also includes an Overall Readiness Score, giving you a simple way to see how prepared you are across your scenarios.

The goal isn't perfection.

The goal is progress.

Being Prepared Means More Than Having Information

Having the right information is only part of being prepared.

The people you trust need to be able to find it, too.

With Readiness, you can share an entire scenario with a trusted contact. Instead of figuring out which individual documents they might need and sharing them one at a time, you can give them access to everything included in that scenario.

For example, if you've created a scenario to help prepare someone to step in during an emergency, you can share the entire scenario with the person you trust to help.

And when circumstances change, managing access is simple. Remove the person from the scenario, and their access to the items shared through that scenario is removed.

Prepare for yourself. Prepare for your family. Prepare the people you trust.

Your Life Is Always Changing. Your Readiness Should, Too.

Preparation isn't something you do once and forget about.

Your family changes. Your assets change. Your important documents change. The people you rely on change.

Readiness gives you a way to continually see where you stand and identify where you may need to take action.

And because the information already lives in your Prisidio vault, you can use existing items in your Readiness Scenarios or add new documents and assets directly from the checklist.

If something is removed from a scenario, it isn't deleted from your vault. It simply becomes unlinked from that particular checklist. Your information remains safely stored in Prisidio.

Ready for What Life Brings

At Prisidio, we believe being prepared isn't about expecting something bad to happen.

It's about giving yourself—and the people you love—the confidence to handle whatever comes next.

Readiness helps turn preparation from an overwhelming task into a clear, achievable process.

Know what you have.

Know what you're missing.

Take the next step.

And when you've done the work, make sure the people you trust are ready, too.

Because peace of mind isn't just knowing your information is safe. It's knowing you're ready to use it—and that the right people can access it—when it matters most.
